AUTOMATED WAREHOUSES

AUTOMATIC WAREHOUSES SERIES AW

Automated industrial warehouses for coil.

Apiel manufactures automated warehouses for industry and logistics. The automatic industrial warehouses are used in the handling of boxes, reels, boxes and individual picking of products.

An example is the machine side. This automated warehouse, picks up the coil wire from the shelf to place them under the automatic wiring machines. The shelves are opposed; in the central corridor and a stacker crane moves.

The automatic warehouse of the example was created with three-phase asynchronous motors with inverter. The warehouse has three stacker cranes, each controlled by an OMRON PLC CP1L. A fourth PLC acts as the master and is networked with the three stacker cranes. Commands can be sent to the PLC by the operator panel or through ethernet.

The PLC can be equipped with a Web server so you can enter commands by means of web pages viewed on PCs.
For more advanced applications, you can create software interfaces directly on machines to send commands via network to the automatic warehouse.

The rigid and robust structure of the stacker crane, can equip the system with induction motors or brushless motors. This choice is related to productivity that will have the system.

The carriage is equipped with two gripping units to lock the products The movement of the grippers on the carriage can be air (the cheap version) or by means of engines. This latter option allows you to have the best performance.

We make two types of carts taken: a compact version that minimizes the space between the two opposing shelves and a standard version. The standard version allows for better performance.

The gripping elements allow the pick of both elements of identical shape as reels and boxes, or picking up products with different sizes.

By means of the containers can be handling products of various shapes and types. The automatic warehouse performs both load and discharge in order automatically.
Gripping devices allow you to store shelves in several pieces for each cell.

Together with stacker cranes, shuttle conveyors can provide a to bring the product in locations where it is required.

AUTOMATIC WAREHOUSES Prel&va2

The photo below right shows the automatic warehouse Prel&va2. The system manages parallelepiped boxes with minimum dimensions 70x40x12 and 250x125x125 maximum. The number of items manageable, even exceed 10,000. The warehouse can work either with boxes equipped with bar code, or without code.

With boxes coded with bar code, the load can be made completely automatic. The operator only has to reverse the pieces into a hopper and the loading is done automatically. The device for automatic identification codes, it is equipped with sensors and bar code readers that allow to recognize the item to store, regardless of the position of the barcode.

With non-coded boxes, the operator must enter the product code. The size of the warehouse are flexible and adapt to customer needs. The recall of products takes place through computers. The pieces are then transported via conveyors and elevators, to the extent required.
