AUTOMATIC SHEETS LOADERS
Apiel produces automatic sheets loaders of paper, plastic and metal. The models we propose are used in the feeding of cutting and printing plotter, printing and screen printing machines, mounting and gluing machines. The machines can be supplied with electrical and software or we can provide the mechanical structure alone.
The model on the left is a table feeder. Sheets, plates and panels to be cut are stored inside, in the middle of the machine. The cut sheets are removed by a vacuum. This solution allows to completely remove the cut sheets ( it's useful in papermaking).
The model on the left is an automatic loader for large dimensions sheets and panels. The feeder has to be used in combination with a large dimension plotter ( width more than 2500 mm). The machine takes sheets from a warehouse and it places them on the tape of the plotter.
The model on the left is an automatic positioner for sheets and large panels. The sheets, slabs and panels to be cut are stored in the lower part of the machine. The cut sheets are removed and placed in a tray positioned above the stock sheets to be cut. This solution allows to limit the footprint of the machine.
COLUMN SHEETS FEEDERS
The machine, in the figure on the side, allows the pick of the sheet from the warehouse and its positioning on the table of the machine. The worked paper is removed from the table and placed in the warehouse of finished sheets. The machine is equipped with two servo motors, one for the vertical movement of the arm attachment of the sheets and one for the rotation of the arm. The machine can be supplied complete with support structures for the sheets.
Apiel produces 2 versions of column sheets feeder:
- column sheets feeder 0-90
- column sheets feeder 0-270
COLUMN SHEETS FEEDER 0-90
Questa macchina è raffigurata nella foto a fianco e le primo filmato della pagina. The arm which carries the sheet gripping head, can rotate from -45 ° to +45 °, and can position itself at any point of the stroke. A second articulated arm prevents the gripping head rotates during the rotation of the arm. Moving a pivot on the fixing plate of the gripping head, it is possible to rotate the gripping head together with the arm: in which case, rotating the arm of 90 °, is also obtained a 90 ° rotation of the gripping head.

COLUMN SHEETS FEEDER 0-270
The arm which carries the sheet gripping head, can rotate 270 °, and can position itself at any point of the stroke. Thanks to a mechanical transmission, the gripping head does not rotate during rotation of the arm. The gripping head can translate along the axis of the arm, with a pneumatic actuator: the stroke can vary from 0 to 250mm.

SHEET FEEDER ACRAB-T
The feeder ACRAB-T is a machine designed to loading and unloading of cutting plotters. The particular characteristics of the machine are:
- high speed
- ability to remove sheets worked full cut
The high speed has been reached with a pair of gripping elements: a vacuum table removes the processed sheet from the table of the plotter. As soon as the sheet is raised from the plane of the plotter, a second group with suction pads, positions the sheet virgin. Thanks to the independence of the two groups of loading and unloading, the time lost for the replacement of the sheet is less than 2sec.
The use of a suction plate for removing the cut sheet, allows to remove both the finished product that the swarf. This feature allows its application in papermaking. In the figures by side it is seen that the packs of sheets to be cut are stacked inside the machine (orange stack on the left). The cut sheets are deposited in the cell to the right. Both stacks rely on plans elevating that thanks to a series of sensors maintain the upper edge of the stacks at a constant height. Thanks to the constant gripping position, is possible to install systems to avoid the simultaneous intake of most sheets (air blades, brushes or blades). It is possible to install ultrasonic sensors to check that the suction cups do not take 2 sheets at a time.
The feeder series ACRAB-T are dimensioned to mate with a precise plotter model. Thanks to a chassis with wheels, the feeder ACRAB-T can be easily moved, allowing you to use the plotter in the traditional way. The feeder can be used on different plotter: the machine has the electric control panel integrated. Due to two fastening arms you can constrain the feeder to the plotter.
To operate the feeder requires:
- Power supply 230V 1kW
- Alimentazione pneumatica 5bar
- Connection to a blower for supplying the vacuum table.
- Preparation of the plotter to interface with the feeder.
SHEET FEEDER ACRAB-CT
The machine offers the ability to upload from 1 to 5 sheets at once. The sheet feeder also can be used with flatbed printers large format inkjet. One example is the model DURST RHO P10/250. The various models are made in relation to the front and depth:

- FRONT: 2500 DEPTH: 1200/2500
- FRONT: 3200 DEPTH: 3200/1600
The machine of the figure to the left has been realized for the feeding of sheets in a machine mounting. The table is raised to maintain the first sheet in the same position.
The machine shown in the figure works on automating the loading of sheets and panels on large cutting and tape plotter. The length of the sheet varies only in relation to the capacity of the cutter. The machinery, at a technical level, is composed of a supporting frame with four columns to the ground on which runs a truss. It is connected to three lifting arms, which, by means of suction cups, proceed to the lifting of the sheet.
LARGE SIZE PANEL FEEDER
The machine is manufactured in 4 different models depending on the maximum size of the movable panel:

This type of machine allows the loading and unloading of panels of large size on machines with the work surface. The main feature of the machine is reduced dimensions: the dimensions in plan of the machine are a little higher than the dimensions of the panel. The positioning unit of the panel is telescopic and during the working phases of the plotter or milling cutter, return integrally inside the machine. The panels to be machined are placed in the lower part of the machine, while the processed are placed in the upper part. The panels are accessible from all sides of the machine. The gripping unit has a series of suction cups for hooking of the panels.
SHEET FEEDER MC 3200
The machine shown in the figure is made to automate the loading of sheets and panels on plotter tape and cutting of large format. The size can reach a maximum of 3200 mm and the maximum weight is 30 kg loadable. The length of the leaf has no limits but depends solely on the ability of the cutter. The machinery, from the technical point of view, consists of a supporting frame with four columns on the ground and on which runs a truss. The latter are connected to the lift arms 3, which, by means of suction cups, hook and lift the sheet. The sheets to be loaded are contained in a suitable support provided separately. The machine also comes with a safety light curtain for the protection of the operating area. This model of the sheet feeder is also available in MC 2500, in which the dimensions can reach a maximum of 2500 mm and the applicable maximum weight is 30 kg.

Order to realize islands with automated feeder column, we can provide 4 types of holders for sheets to be machined or machined.
ADJUSTABLE SHEETS HOLDER
The adjustable holders (photo by side), are produced in two sizes:
- Sheet dimension from 1200x800 to ?00x?00
- Sheet dimension from 800x600 to 400x300
This product simple and economical has 6 guides with a height of 800mm to hold the sheets machined and to be machined. The adjustment is carried out simply by loosening the locking screws and manually move the position of the single guide.
ADJUSTABLE SELFCENTERING SHEETS HOLDER
The adjustable holder (photo by side), are produced in two sizes:
- Sheet dimension from 1200x800 to ?00x?00
- Sheet dimension from 800x600 to a 400x300
This product has 6 guides height 800mm to hold the sheets machined and to be machined. The adjustment is done through 2 cranks. A crank adjusts the width, and the other the length: rotating the cranks the lateral guides widen or tighten, remaining parallel and equidistant from the centerline of the machine. The two cranks have a position indicator that indicates the distance between the guides.
