PALLET CONVEYORS
Apiel manufactures gravity or driven conveyors for pallets. Our range of products includes 3 types of roller conveyors and a type of chain conveyor. The gravity pallets conveyos have idler rollers for manually move the pallet with its load. We produce two types of driven rollers conveyors: roller conveyors for moving only the pallet and roller conveyoers to move the pallet with the load. We can create complex systems for feeding one or more palletizers from a single centralized pallet warehouse.
CHAIN PALLET CONVEYORS
This type of conveyor is used whenever you need to move the pallet in a direction in which the surface does not guarantee the minimum size to be able to roll on rollers. An example are the pallets Europallet, when translate this with the larger front running have a dimension of support (longitudinal dimension of the three panels) of about 120mm. This dimension does not allow the safe rolling of the pallet on the roller. In these conditions is used conveyor chain that provides continuous support on three lines. The chain runs on steel rails, inside case made of bent sheet metal. Using the three chains ensures the safety of transport, avoiding the danger of tipping over and allowing the transport of pallets also damaged.

ROLLER CONVEYORS FOR PALLETS WITH LOAD
Handling of pallets with "lines of support" sufficiently large.

- Transmission with 3/4" chain tangential
- Standard versions with coaxial gearmotors Bonfiglioli.
- Ability to create bi-directional conveyor
ROLLER CONVEYORS FOR EMPTY PALLETS
Typology of product similar to the pallet conveyor with load. Taking account of light load, the structure is lighter than the model for filled pallets, the pitch of the rollers is large, and the rollers are lighter.
The main features are:
- Rollers diameter 76mm pitch 250mm.
- Transmission with 5/8" chain tangential
- Coaxial gearmotor "C" series Bonfiglioli.
- Possibility to make two-way conveyor.
IDLE ROLLER CONVEYORS
This type of product, and used with pallets weighing not very high (up to 250 kg) to allow handling by a single operator. With the same equipment, giving the appropriate slope to the conveyor, are produced the gravity conveyors.
The support structure of the roller is made of sheet metal 30/10. Diameter, length and pitch of the rollers varies according to application.
MAGAZZINI PALLET
Apiel realizza magazzini automatici per pallet per l'alimentazione di isole automatiche di pallettizzazione.
Mettiamo a disposizione della nostra clientela due modelli di magazzini: magazzino a carico laterale e magazzini a carico frontale. Nei primi la pila di pallet viene inserita dal lato stretto mentre nei secondi dal lato largo. L'uscita del pallet può avvenire indistintamente da uno dei tre lati liberi (il 4° è il lato di carico). I magazzini sono realizzati per qualsiasi dimensione di pallet.
Caratteristiche essenziali sono:
- Comando pneumatico.
- Capacità di carico 10 pallet.
- Espulsione pallet per mezzo di trasportatore a catena.
- Centratore trasversale per un perfetto posizionamento del pallet.
LINES FOR HANDLING PALLETS
We can realize automatic distribution of pallets to the loading bays. We make handling lines for filled pallets. The wide availability of accessories such as arrests, centering, corners, etc.. allow the construction of conveyor lines also very complex.
Possibilities realization are:
- Automated pallet warehouse.
- Rotate pallet to create curves in transport.
- Ability to build feed lines to one or more palletizers.
- Complete supply of electrical board and eventual control software, on Siemens or Omron PLC.
MEASURING DEVICE OF PALLET WEIGHT AND SIZE
Apiel produces two devices which measures the size of the products on the pallets according to three axes and their weight over both roller conveyors or chain conveyors.
The two devices can be combined into a single group with a single control cabinet or provided individually.
The pallet size measuring device is used to measure the dimensions in height, width and depth of the pallet. To measure only the height can provide particular photoelectric barriers that detect the extent of the pallet during its movement on the conveyor. When there is a need to detect the three dimensions of the pallet can provide the device of figure beside. The machine consists of two columns on which slides a quadrilateral with the measuring sensors. The pallet is stopped at the measuring point; the quadrilateral is lowered to align the photocells measuring the pallet. The quadrilateral begins to rise to scan the profile of the product on the pallet. In addition to detecting the maximum size you can also get the profile in the frontal and lateral planes.

The measuring device in figure beside is used for measurement of the weight of pallets which move on roller conveyors or chain conveyors. The measurement is made with the pallet stopped. Among the rollers of the conveyor is inserted a series of profiles. The profiles are raised, lifting the pallet. With a load cell is carried out the measurement of the weight.
The main features are:

- Pressure compressed air supply of 5 bar.
- Ability to measure maximum 1500 Kg.
- Measurement sensitivity 4N.
