Apiel produces 3 sizes of SCARA robots:

• Scara robot with rotating column.
• Heavy version with a payload at wrist 120/180Kg.
• Medium version with a payload at wrist 60 kg
• Light version with a payload at wrist 15 kg

SCARA ROBOTS HEAVY SIZE

The scara robot is a machine with high productivity, used for palletizing, can palletize on one or two bays. As performance is similar to anthropomorphic robots for palletizing. The vertical stroke is 2500mm. The vertical dimension is contained and is therefore ideal for applications where vertical space available is reduced. The vertical column can rotate 350 ° allowing you to take full advantage of the outreach of the gripper.

SCARA ROBOTS MEDIUM SIZE

The medium size scara robots is used for handling and palletising. This machine is smaller than the heavy model, thus low operating volumes. The maximum vertical stroke is 1800mm. The vertical dimension is contained and is therefore ideal for applications where vertical space available is reduced. The vertical column can rotate 350 ° allowing you to take full advantage of the outreach of the gripper.

The light size scara robot is used for manipulation and painting. Compared to the heavy and medium sizes the light size scara robot does not have the rotating column. The vertical stroke can be up to 3000mm. The vertical dimension is contained and is ideal for applications where the available vertical space is limited.
