CARTESIAN AXIS ROBOTS CC SERIE FROM 3 TO 6 AXIS

Cartesian axis robot are produced in 4 sizes:

Robot cartesian 3 axes manipulator

The cartesian axes robots can be supplied in the following configurations:

  1. Basic supply of axes only, no motors, no sensors and no electrical system
  2. Supply as in point 1 plus support frame
  3. Supply as in point 1 plus electric panel with PLC (Siemens, Omron or Mitsubishi) or CNC, HMI touch screen 7" color, motors and drives, sensors
  4. Supply as in point 3 more control and command software

The axes can be positioned independently or can be interpolated (linearly or circularly with particular curves). The complex interpolation shapes are obtained with the use of axes control boards.

The cartesian axis robot CC series is sketched in figure beside. The machine can be supplied with 3 cartesian axes and any combination of rotation axes. The rotations U, W, and J may be controlled by servo motors or, if you have only two positions, it is possible to use pneumatic actuators. Transmissions are made with low-backlash planetary gearboxes. The motors can be Panasonic or Danaher Motion.

CC-series cartesian axes robots are available with timing belt drive or rack and pinion. Models with timing belt drives can have the X axis motor "on the ground" as shown in figure beside, or with the motor on board the carriage moving along the X axis.
The position feedback is obtained by the resolver or encoder of the motor. For manipulator which require high accuracy in the repetition of the positioning, the position feedback can be achieved with optical scales.

The robot can also be supplied with induction motors and inverters, in applications with low performance and reduced positioning accuracy.

CARTESIAN AXIS PALLETIZER SERIE CC

The cartesian axes palletizer CC serie is an economical solution for palletizing on multiple pallet positions. The machine lacks a frame: the robot illustrated below, runs on a rail longitudinal allowing to reach the pallet to serve. The machine has some restrictions compared to the previous model: the pallets must be aligned, the cross travel is limited. The speeds are lower than the model described above. The economic benefits are sensitive. A pallet position can be used for pallet warehouse and another for the interleaves warehouse.

The palletizer is made in 4 different versions: two economic models that use three-phase asynchronous motors with inverters, two models which use servomotors. The payload may be 60 or 100Kg, depending on the installed motors. The two pairs of models differ in the length of the Y axis transverse. The axis can be as short as in figure beside. The models with the short Y axis, require that the conveyors bring the products to be palletised on the same side of the pallets.

In figure beside shows the model with the transverse axis long which, bypassing the longitudinal axis on the ground, allows the removal of products from conveyor positioned on the opposite side with respect to the pallet. This solution allows great freedom in design layout.

The conveyors positioned on the opposite side to the pallet, must have a height low enough not to constitute encumbrance for the movement of the transverse axis.
